Kids Activity: Exploring Art Surfaces (from stickers to wood panels) in Collaboration with Chicago-Based You Are Beautiful
Join us Saturday and Sunday at 12 noon-1 pm inside at Yellowbird Coffee Bar NE for a pop-up activity.
It started in Chicago in 2002 with a sticker. Now, more than 20 years later, You Are Beautiful continues to inspire a simple message worthy of passing on to a best friend, a kind stranger, or keeping to tape near the mirror in your own space.
Join visual artist Isabel Emerson to explore painting and drawing on a variety of surfaces, including wood panels with and without gesso, paper, linen, and stickers, just waiting for your hands to add whatever brings you joy!
