Exploring the intersection of grief and identity, with an emphasis on visceral, ephemeral lines formed by semi-abstract forms, repetition, and color. Manipulating surfaces and paint with found additives, including crushed limestone and sandstone, achieves the desired textures.

Inspired in part by the poem “Ode to Some Yellow Flowers” (1954) by Pablo Neruda, this body of work explores how small moments within the profound experience of grief redefine who we are as individuals.
